How do you smell?

Really?

That seems like a weird question to ask. Right?

Smell is a big topic right now. Many people lost their sense of smell over the last two years due to COVID. Smell has always been apart of the first few days|years when welcoming a new baby. New baby smells can be 'oh, so good', or not so good. :-) Just keeping it real! Smell is often a delightful experience when walking to Bath & Body or into a family members home over the holiday.

Our Heavenly Father includes sweet aroma, and odor, into 2 Corinthians 2:15. The sweet aroma leads to life, and let's just say that the 'odor' does not. Being around people who 'smell' sweet encourages me, provides comfort, and feels genuine. The sweet aroma builds those around us and the Kingdom.

2 Corinthians talks about the odor too. The odor represents dishonest gain, and leads to destruction. Odor is equated to death.

How do you smell today, spiritually speaking?

“For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved ......"

2 Corinthians 2:15a
